Delivery/Shipping – Free delivery on orders over 14,000 HUF*
We provide free delivery on orders over 14,000 HUF ($25.00 baseline equivalent) with select shipping carriers. Some carrier and product exclusions may apply.
VAT & Customs Duties
iHerb is fully registered in the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) framework and will collect, declare, and pay the VAT to the tax authorities for distance sales of imported goods with a total value not exceeding 14,000 HUF (the €150 EU threshold). VAT is included transparently in our pricing at checkout. Order limit/value caps may be in place for some couriers to support automated clearance.
Due to fluctuations in the exchange rate, orders with values very close to the tax-free limit may be assessed Duties and Taxes (D&T) as the currency exchange rate may vary from the order date to the customs clearance date. Please check with your local customs office to see if you can import the items, and if any additional licenses or permits are needed.
For official regulatory guidelines regarding national customs or import rules, you can visit the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary (Nemzeti Adó- és Vámhivatal - NAV) portal or the EU Taxation and Customs Union website.
Why might you see customs duty and discount at checkout?
At iHerb, we understand customers do not want surprise costs. That's why we reimburse any applicable customs duties through a discretionary discount applied at checkout if your order exceeds €10. Customs duties are displayed for transparency.
From July 2026, the equivalent of a €3 customs duty in your local currency applies to certain goods imported from outside the EU in parcels valued under €150. This duty is part of new EU customs rules designed to create fairer competition, strengthen product compliance checks, and support customs processing for the growing volume of international e-commerce shipments.
The €3 customs duty applies per customs product category, not per iHerb product category. If your order contains multiple products that belong to the same customs product category, only one €3 customs duty will apply. If your order contains products that belong to different customs product categories, more than one €3 customs duty may apply depending on the number of categories represented in your order.
Example: If your order contains three supplements that all belong to the same customs product category, a single €3 customs duty will apply. If your order contains supplements, skincare products, and pet products that fall into three different customs product categories, customs duties of up to €9 will apply (€3 per category).
Very occasionally customs duties may unintentionally be applied. If this happens please contact customer service.
Timing
We endeavour to deliver to you as quickly as possible. All iHerb orders are air-freighted directly to Europe from our temperature-controlled, GMP/IOSS certified warehouses in the USA. Estimated delivery times are shown clearly at checkout.
On occasion, some orders may be subject to longer transit times due to regional air freight delays, terminal customs clearance bottlenecks, or any other unforeseen complications outside of iHerb's control.
