My go to vitamin C. Price is a little high so I stock up during sales but there is no point buying cheaper vitamin c that your body can’t absorb. I take this with Glutathione and I have noticed significant lightening and brightening of my skin, showing just how much of a powerhouse antioxidant these are in combination. Firstly, I noticed a surge of energy almost immediately after I drink the capsule. This is because the liposomal form begins to be absorbed quite quickly. I like all of Mercola's products that I've tried. I'm learning how important it is for vitamins and certain other supplements to be "liposomal," as that helps absorption into the blood and into the cells. It doesn't necessarily mean that the vitamin C is already attached to the liposomes; rather the supplement includes liposomes which then attach to the vitamin C in the gut. A "liposome" is "A liposome is a spherical vesicle having at least one lipid bilayer" (per Wikipedia). Lipids are substances (like fats) that are do not dissolve well in water or other polar substances. They include " fatty acids, waxes, sterols, fat-soluble vitamins, ... monoglycerides, diglycerides, triglycerides, and phospholipids." (also from wikipedia)
